Given it's growth in popularity, you are likely somewhat familiar with Life Coaching. It begins with assessing you and your way of being in the present moment, and thereafter advancing a process which leads to new ways approaching aspects of your life.

My fundamental coaching style is infused with elements of somatic education, including the use of movement, breath, and present moment awareness.

My work in somatic education is held in the knowledge 15+ years of practicing The Feldenkrais Method®. It's foundation is held in emerging neuroscience regarding the vagus nerve and the balance of the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, all parts of the central nervous system. So why movement and coaching? Well, we know that just like psychology, coaching has it’s place when it comes to mind and body wellness intentions. Emerging research indicates that the central nervous system and more specifically the parasympathetic nervous system and vagus nerve can play a large role in self regulation, something which enhances a participants potential for success. Participating in movement and breath work that invites curiosity and choices for our physical actions helps offer options for our movement patterns. This often beckons our mind to expand creativity and discover new ways of thinking or looking at life, making our process to create change a more efficient process, bringing one to a healthier, happier life.
