Branch In Sunlight

I work in two distinct but related areas.

Both are rooted in the same commitment to clarity, attention, and careful craft.

Marketing and Strategic Communications

For businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that need someone who can think strategically and execute precisely — across brand, content, digital, and communications.

I've worked with university systems, chambers of commerce, real estate firms, aviation startups, nonprofit arts organizations, and independent businesses. My work spans the full range from high-level strategy to hands-on production.

Services

• Brand identity and positioning

• Digital marketing strategy and execution

• Content development and copywriting

• Social media management and strategy

• Email marketing and CRM development

• Website content and design direction

• Public relations and donor communications

• Event communications and promotion

• Technical documentation

Who is this for

  • Small and mid-size organizations that want sophisticated communications without an in-house team.

  • Businesses that have outgrown generic marketing.

  • Mission-driven organizations — nonprofits, arts groups, agricultural ventures — that need someone who understands both strategy and nuance.

  • Entrepreneurs who have a clear vision and need a skilled partner to help them say it well.

Feldenkrais® and Intuitive Somatics

For People

For Horses and Animals

The Feldenkrais Method®  works with the nervous system's capacity to learn. Through gentle movement and careful attention, it helps the brain reorganize habitual patterns — releasing tension, reducing pain, and restoring ease of movement. This is not massage, not physical therapy, not fitness training. It's education. The body learns a different way of being.

I work with individuals experiencing chronic pain or tension, movement limitations, performance goals — including riders who want to improve their position and feel in the saddle, musicians managing physical strain, and anyone who simply wants to feel more comfortable and capable in their body.

I bring the same somatic principles to horses, mules, and other animals. Drawing on nine years as a veterinary technician and a lifetime of working with horses, I work hands-on to help animals release tension and move more freely. I work with what the animal's nervous system shows me, not against it.

Sessions are responsive, unhurried, and guided by the animal's own responses.

This work is suited to horses carrying tension from training, recovery, or habit — and particularly to horse-and-rider partnerships where the pattern of movement involves both.
